The major research fields in the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology
Creating the scientific framework of the complex processing of mineral resources, designing the ecology-friendly technologies for processing natural and non-traditional raw materials of non-ferrous, rare and noble metals, on the basis of which the production techniques of new materials are being developed.
Scientific and systematic supervising of the top-priority research in the field of scientific framework of complex utilization of mineral resources is carried out by Director of the Institute G. L. Pashkov.
Developing the scientific framework of the natural gas, oil and coal processing, as well as processing of reproducible and non-traditional chemical raw materials (vegetative biomass in particular).
Scientific and systematic supervising of another top-priority research is done by First Vice-Director of the Institute, Professor B. N. Kuznetsov.
The Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology
serves as a foundation for the following organizations:
- educational-research center "Physical Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Materials" and affiliates of the chairs entitled "Metallurgy of Rare and Noble Metals" and "Enrichment of Raw Materials", founded in cooperation with the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold;
- educational-research center for training specialists of application and reproduction of Siberian forest resources, established in cooperation with Siberian State Technological University and Institute of Forest SB RAS;
- scientific chairs formed in cooperation with Krasnoyarsk State University:
- chair of organic chemistry and organic synthesis technology;
- chair of inorganic chemistry and chemical technologies;
- scientific chairs formed in cooperation with Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold: chair on physical research methods
- Siberian International Research Center of Extreme States of Organism.
