Head of the laboratory catalytic conversion of small molecules, Vice-director of the ICCCT SB RAS. Head of the Chemistry department of Institute of Fundamental Training of Siberian Federal University.
The Fields of Scientific Interest are oxidative catalysis, the processes of hydrocarbons conversion, the creation of environmentally balanced technologies of mineral and organic raw materials processing, extra-toxic substances conversion, including radioactive ones.
Prof. Anshits A. G. was taken an active part in the development of non-ferrous metallurgy plants technological level. He participated in reconstruction of the Claus process industrial reactors of Noril’sk mining and smelting Complex. He is at the head of working up the technology for adsorption removal of HCl from vapor-gas mixture on an experimental-industrial scale at the Krasnoyarsk Plant of Non-Ferrous Metals. The rating of carcinogenic risk in aluminium production using Soderberg cells was realized.
In recent years, the main field of his scientific interest is bound up with studies of interrelation composition – morphology – physico-chemical characteristics of fly ash microspheres and developing of novel functional materials on basis of them. The property of high-temperature microspheric oxidative catalysts, sensitizing agents for emulsion explosives, microspherical membranes for hydrogen and helium diffusion have being studied. In cooperation with of Rosatom and Department of Energy USA organizations microspherical encapsulated sorbents and porous matrices worked up for long-term isolation of radionuclides in mineral-like forms.
Ph.D. thesis “mechanism of deep oxidation and relative reactivity of aliphatic hydrocarbons on copper oxides” realized and defended in Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS, Novosibirsk. Speciality - chemical kinetics and catalysis. Theoretical footings of hydrocarbons deep oxidation on copper oxide systems were studied.
Thesis of Doctor of Chemistry “The Catalytic Effect of compound oxide systems within Ñ1-Ñ2 hydrocarbons coupling” realized in Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology SB RAS, Krasnoyarsk and defended in Boreskov Institute of Catalysis SB RAS, Novosibirsk. Speciality - chemical kinetics and catalysis.
The novel conception of oxygen activation on oxides structure defects with stabilization of atomic forms which are active in coupling and partial oxidation Ñ1-Ñ4 alkanes was advanced in the Doctoral Thesis. For the first time, it was shown that the surface form of the atomic oxygen is a high specific to attack Ñ-Í bond. The mechanism of methane dimerization was studied and series of the high-performance catalysts for this process is developed.
He is author of 341 publications, including 76 in russian and 65 foreign scientific issues, 1 monograph, 31 national and 5 US patents. For the last five years he published 62 papers, including 31 reviewed publications, 5 are national and 1 US patents.
